Package 1: 'introduction to screen printing' - The Basics / Refresher
This course is ideal if you've had no experience of screen printing or if you want a refresher. It consists of 6 hours of one-to-one tuition and guidance, split over 2 or 3 sessions depending on your availability - we provide all equipment and materials, and work closely with you to carefully explain and demonstrate every step along the way to make sure that at the end of the course you are able to come away with a small edition of prints, posters, totes, cards, t-shirts, whatever - to keep, give away or even $£LL.
What to expect: (session one) - 3 hours
We'll go through the basics of screen printing, show you some examples and chat through your idea, if you don't have an idea - not a problem! We can very quickly come up with something to get you started. We'll artwork your idea on the computer to a point where we can order in the transparencies needed for the next steps of exposing the screen. We'll also touch on preparing the screens and I'll coat a screen for you in prep for your next session
(session two) - 3 hours*
We'll expose the screens, choose colours and mix your inks. We'll browse through the papers in stock and choose one that suits your requirements. You'll then get to pull some ink through the screens and by the end of the session you'll be able to leave with your edition of prints. *second session can be split into multiple slots if required.

Q: I work during the day - can I come and print weekends or evenings?
A: Yes, we can accommodate weekends and evenings, just get in touch and we can arrange a time.
Q: I don't have a website or any way of selling my goods.
A: Not a problem, we can showcase your wares on our store and promote them on our socials.
Q: Then what... I don't know the first thing about e-commerce and merch.
A: Again, leave it to us, we'll deal with all the pricing, commerce, postage and packing, and whatever is left in ways of profit - we'll pass on to you. Get in touch and we can explain our artist representation and sales policy.
Q: I've got a dog, can I bring the dog along.
A: Yes, the building is dog-friendly, as long as the dog is well behaved and won't get under foot.
Q: I've got a medical condition that dictates I need regular cups of tea otherwise I get real grouchy.
A: We understand and accommodate everyone's medical needs, I am first aid trained, we have first aid boxes in the unit, we also have a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities - we even offer a good selection of biscuits (for emergencies).
